We first met at a singles event at our church, Casa Viva—one that Dhianny actually hosted. Funny enough, she wasn’t planning on finding someone there… but God definitely had other plans! Ez showed up, and that’s when our paths crossed.

From the very beginning, little things just clicked—our shared sense of humor, discovering our mutual love for oysters (which quickly became “our thing”), bonding through music, effortless conversations, enjoying traveling, embracing new adventures, deep value of family, and most importantly, our love and fear of God.

Our relationship grew through unforgettable moments: our first beach trip, where we said “I love you,” and the night he dedicated “Beyond” by Leon Bridges—a song that made us both realize we had found the one.

The proposal was just as special—and a little funny. After a date night and a failed attempt to visit Rosie’s Garden (because... it was unexpectedly closed), he then invited her back, for what he called a “year-end gift.” We laughed through some random trivia happening in the background before he handed her a gift bag. Inside was a photo album filled with memories from our year together. When she turned to the last page, there was a photo of the ring… and then she looked up and saw him on one knee. That’s when he asked, “Will you marry me?”
